Baysville Curling & Bocce Club Rebrands to Lake of Bays Curling & Bocce Club
Baysville, ON – August 9th – The Baysville Curling and Bocce Club proudly announces its rebranding to Lake of Bays Curling & Bocce Club, effective immediately. This significant milestone embraces the club’s rich heritage and regional pride.
“At Lake of Bays Curling & Bocce Club, our mission remains to provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment where members can enjoy fellowship and sport,” said Ed Mathany, President of the club. “We are dedicated to promoting curling and bocce as affordable, enjoyable social activities for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players.”
This change marks an opportunity to enhance the club’s outreach and inclusivity within the community. With district support, the Lake of Bays Curling & Bocce Club aims to adapt to the evolving needs of today’s society, focusing on accessibility and inclusion.

About Lake of Bays Curling & Bocce Club: Established in 1952 and located in Baysville, ON, the club has evolved over its 72-year history. With a membership of over 90 avid participants, the club warmly welcomes new members to join.
Beyond sports, the club features a vibrant social hub with a welcoming lounge, a fully stocked bar, and a kitchen often reserved for special occasions. The club regularly hosts social events such as Trivia Nights, the Cabaret, and live music events.
